Fuel SA — Get a reminder to fill up your car before the fuel price goes up, current and history fuel price data and a JSON API
I’ve spent some time creating a cool little web application, Fuel SA (https://www.fuelsa.co.za), that collects fuel data for South Africa. And then we use the data to provide current and historic prices.
We also provide functionality for subscribers to subscribe to: when the price change happening and also be reminded on the day of the fuel price change so they can save money by filling up the day before.
The web application also provide a JSON API, so other websites and businesses can use it to display the current fuel price on their website or use it in their internal systems. It would be a once off implementation on their website and the price would automatically be updated.
